received a text message from 4305621176, to call 1-844-588-6954 and schedule a free software update for LG refrigerator. On calling the number, a woman's voice mentioned she is from Goodwin dealership an author side dealership for LG. They knew my name, number and the fact that I have an LG refrigerator. I have never heard of this dealership or scheduled any repairs or service from them. I have not even registered my phone number with LG for warranty purposes, I only your my email. So how did they know my personal information. This is suspicious.

2nd time in a year. I called the supposed number to PayPal listed in the email and told them to quit scamming people and get an honest.job. a few hours later I got a call back and they were portraying themselves as PayPal which I told him I knew he was not and I knew from previous experience it is a phishing scheme. He wanted me to send an email back to the email address on the correspondence I am sure so he could get my IP address. I researched this with the real PayPal and the real computer company last time and they were aware and assured me it was a scam.
