Received "Kia" postcard in the mail saying to call phone number 1-888-678-0923 regarding my car needing vehicle service protection to be updated and that failure to respond would recategorize my vehicle in their system as "High-risk potential "Pre-Existing" conditions with mechanical or electrical issues on vehicle." Instead of calling the number they gave me, I called the actual Kia Motors Customer service phone number and spoke w/a rep. She said that the postcard is most likely a scam as they would NEVER send out anything like that.

i just bought a new Chevrolet Trax, and received a postcard saying that I need response immediately or else my car will not be active in vehicle protection. It looks real from my car dealer. I called soon, and they told me to register my car in the vehicle insurance, asking my credit card all information: card number and also the back number. The money $495 was transited immediately. Soon I got alerting email from my bank. I also felt very strange how the warranty needs my credit security number? I did research online, and called my bank to cancel the transition and also the card. Be cautious!

Got a vague postcard in the mail telling me if I didn’t call them and speak with a service rep that my car would be recategorized as a status of [High-risk potential “Pre-existing” conditions with mechanical or electrical issues on vehicle]. No logo, seal, or company name so I’m taking this as mail spam. This number was the only identifying information on the card.

This company sent a mailer to entice people to purchase an 'extended warranty' on your vehicle. This is NOT from the manufacturer of the vehicle or the dealership. It us little more than a scam.

This number called my 15 year old nephews phone asking for me. I called and got a strange message about leaving a message with my information. My nephew informed me they asked if I still lived in a town I lived in over 9 months ago and needed to contact me about a legal matter. In my opinion this is a huge scam.
